A Rustic, Sunflower Wedding at Oak Crest Mansion Inn in Pass Christian, Mississippi

Christina Lawless (26 and a registered nurse) and Chris Hendry's (31 and a drafter) wedding couldn't have been more true to their style. They took Christina’s favorite flower and turned it into the main decor for their rustic celebration in Pass Christian, Mississippi. “My favorite flower has always been sunflowers, so I wanted a sunflower-filled wedding,” Christina says. Sunflowers were everywhere, from the bridesmaid bouquets to the aisle decor and centerpieces. The natural accents were even on the tiered buttercream cake. To take things a step further, the navy blue, white and yellow wedding colors were picked just to accentuate their flowers. Christina and Chris decorated the Oak Crest Mansion Inn’s yellow ballroom with navy linens, blue glass beads inside the centerpieces as well as navy and yellow koozie wedding favors.
