A Charming, Brunch-Themed Wedding at the Town and Country Club in St. Paul, Minnesota
Sarah (28 and an attorney) and Peter (29 and an in advertising) met through college Greek life at UW-Madison, and through eight years of dating and attending many of their friends’ weddings, they quickly figured out how they wanted to throw their own wedding celebration. “We love picnics and brunch, and some of our favorite memories from college include daytime gatherings with friends,” says Sarah. Going along with the brunch theme, Sarah and Peter incorporated a red and white gingham pattern—a nod to their alma mater’s colors—into the decor, invitations, and pocket squares for the groomsmen. They held their ceremony and reception at the Town and Country Club in St. Paul, Minnesota, conveniently located close to Sarah’s parents’ house. From pedicab wedding transportation, to a “Mad Libs” guest book, to a gluten-free pancake stack in place of a wedding cake, Sarah and Peter's wedding was a hodgepodge of inventive and unconventional choices that perfectly reflect the couple’s warm and whimsical personalities.
