A Boho Rooftop Wedding at Six Hundred King in Jacksonville, Florida
An urban museum rooftop set the scene for Robynn Sorenson (27 and a baker) and James Jackson’s (27 and works in sales) ultra-personalized celebration. “I wanted a modern and romantic feel,” Robynn says. She ditched traditional flowers in favor of miniature cactus centerpieces and eucalyptus. Aside from a few colorful accents, one showpiece flower made the cut: a single king protea that was prominently displayed in Robynn’s bouquet. Brass candlesticks, gold flatware and ferns juxtaposed the white warehouse interior, which also had hanging papel picado banners. “The banners were one of the most important design elements,” Robynn says. James's mom purchased the laser cut paper in Mexico.
