Yellow Ribbon Handfasting Ceremony

Kimberlee and Hegel's ceremony could not have been more personalized. One of their best friends presided over the service, and their parents were incorporated with a handfasting ceremony. “Our mothers came up and bound our hands with ribbon in our wedding colors,” Kimberlee says. “Our hands remained tied until after our recessional. It symbolized our commitment to each other.”
