To keep the long pauses that typically go with the mother-son and father-daughter dances, Lindsay and Jeff combined them into one song, “Deeper Than the Holler,” by Randy Travis. “We had a series of cut-ins that ended up with each set of parents coupled up, and Jeff and me dancing together,” Lindsay says.
