A Whimsical Music Festival-Inspired Wedding at Stafford Lake Park in Novato, California

Meredith and Evan invited guests on a trip to CartyLand, a festival-style celebration complete with VIP  wristbands located in the invites. Guests watched the ceremony from blankets on the grass, then headed to the reception for face painting, a taco truck and slices of an ultra-colorful cake. “We wanted our loved ones to have a blast,” Meredith says. “The day reflected our story and adventures in a rainbow of colors.” 

Guests chose their own adventure when it came to the myriad of reception activities. Dancers could take the floor, while kids made crafts, took on the face-painting station or hopped into competitive kickball games. The newlyweds chose a mashup of two songs for their debut: first, they danced to “Saturday Love” by Cherrelle and Alexander O’Neal. Next, their two children joined them for “My Cherie Amour” by Stevie Wonder.
