Like thousands of other couples, Alisha and Stephen were forced to reimagine their nuptials in light of the COVID-19 pandemic. In the end, they settled on a scaled-back wedding in Columbia, South Carolina at Stephen's mother's home with only their immediate families in attendance.

Although the pandemic forced the couple to change plans, their reimagined nuptials were nothing short of absolutely celebratory and joy-filled. The couple's photographer recalls how Alisha and Stephen "shared vows in front of their immediate family members in short, intimate ceremony. I absolutely love the photos of them recessing down the aisle after their ceremony because you can just see the joy on their faces! These two literally danced their way down the aisle as husband and wife!" Following their vow exchange, the couple enjoyed a sit-down dinner with the family followed by a cake cutting and sparkler exit to cap off the evening.
