While Dave and Lauren considered several locations to host their destination getaway, it was Portland, Maine that truly captured their hearts. “It’s been a special place for us since we started dating,” says Lauren, “and while the other locations we were considering were very beautiful, there was no connection and they felt very impersonal to us.” Hosting their wedding in Portland allowed the couple to share one of their favorite cities with their closest family members and friends, while providing endless activities and amenities for guests to enjoy all weekend long.
