Since it was a backyard wedding, Jessica knew she didn't want an elaborate dress dragging across the grass or tall heels sinking into the ground. "I wanted something practical, comfortable and classic," she says. She selected an A-line in ivory (to offset her fair complexion) with a vintage aesthetic to tie in with the backyard geek-chic theme. She coupled this with ivory shoes with spool heels and pearls she inherited from her great aunt.
