Vibrant Spring Wedding at Omni Providence Hotel in Providence, Rhode Island
rn The day after their six-year anniversary, Evan Moore (28 and a construction project manager) convinced Meagan Beauchamp (28 and a radiology technologist) to get out of bed at 6 a.m. so they could take photos of the sunrise with his new camera. She wasn't thrilled, but begrudgingly threw on sweatpants and joined him for some seaside photos at Beavertail State Park in Jamestown, Rhode Island. At the base of the lighthouse, Evan handed her an anniversary present, which Meagan opened to reveal a beautiful diamond ring. "Without any hesitation I said yes," she says. Nearly two years later, the couple were married in a vibrant spring wedding in Rhode Island's capital city. The festivities began with a Catholic ceremony at First Unitarian Church of Providence before moving to the nearby Omni Providence Hotel for dinner and dancing. "Our ceremony was my absolute dream come true," Meagan says. "We wanted to our ceremony to be intimate and nontraditional, but carry some small parts of a Catholic ceremony for our grandparents." A bright color scheme of purple, fuchsia, green and orange reflected Meagan and Evan's outgoing personalities and captured the spring season, while personal touches and nods to the Ocean State gave the day a charming touch. —Meghan Overdeep
