Velvet and Jewel Tones Set Apart This Glam Wedding at Hidden Waters in Waxahachie, Texas

For their wedding at Hidden Waters in Waxahachie, Texas, Marcus and Carla incorporated velvet and jewel tones into their design to complement the event venue's regal feel. Plants can be seen growing all around the brick estate so the duo chose to lean into the garden vibe with roses and greenery filling every moment of their colorful celebration. To match the event's regal aesthetic, Marcus donned a velvet tux jacket in deep emerald while Carla accented her lace wedding dress with a jeweled headband. The glam looks perfectly complemented the Texas celebration's pink draping, lush flowers and gold accents. 


"The layout was stunning. Heading inside for the reception, Shayes Decoration had it on lock! Did y’all see those gorgeous centerpieces? The floral arrangement was so classy and the white flower bouquets really tied the interior decoration together with a huge elegant bow. I mean, from top to bottom, left to right, Marcus and Carla had a bomb wedding," recalls the couple's photographer. "To top their night off, as they were walking out, the guests at the wedding held sparklers along the walkway, such a cute touch. It was exciting, full of love, and a perfect way to end their celebration. I loved every minute of this wedding! The food was great, the music was on point and dancing and singing were in full effect!"
