Tuscany Inspired This Mountain Ranch Soiree in Telluride, Colorado
For their wedding, Blaire and Kyle, who both work in marketing, brought the charm of Tuscany to Telluride, a place close to Blaire’s heart. “We got married at my grandparents’ ranch,” she says. “It’s a sacred place for my family.” Rustic reclaimed wood and kilim patterns, including those on the groomsmen’s shoes, played up the feel of the mountainside setting, while breezy baby’s breath and an airy palette channeled the elegance of coastal Italy.
Sprigs of greenery topped clean, minimal chargers, linens and menus, all in white. A wispy hanging installation made of baby’s breath welcomed partygoers to the dance floor, where a DJ spun tunes. “It looked like a massive baby’s breath cloud,” Blaire says. “It was my favorite design element of the entire wedding.” For dessert, guests had a local bite: Colorado peach cake.
