Tuscan-Inspired Estate Wedding in Texas
Though Jessica Langenberg (30 and a creative director) and Cole Lester (30 and a trader) tied the knot in their hometown of Houston, the pair designed their day to transport guests to a place beyond the Lone Star State—Tuscany, to be exact. “The venue is on 1,000 acres with Tuscan-inspired architecture,” Jessica says. “The European décor made for a romantic atmosphere.” In true Italian fashion, the pair chose soft blooms and a hearty menu of chicken parm, lasagna and pasta primavera to complete the vibe.
One of Jessica and Cole’s biggest priorities when picking a venue: nature. “We wanted an outdoor wedding, but with an elegant atmosphere,” Jessica says. “The Clubs is full of breathtaking oak trees and sprawling lakes.” Garden roses, ranunculus and fall foliage dressed tables, along with framed calligraphed table numbers. The couple honored their passion for equestrianism with a horse-show-themed seating chart display, complete with ribbons. “It was the focal point of the entry,” Jessica says.
Loved ones gathered in the property’s restored stone chapel, complete with floor-to-ceiling fireplaces, which Jessica and Cole’s florist topped with greenery and roses. Of course it was only fitting for the pair to complete their amaretto cake with a topper depicting a woman on a horse kissing a cowboy. After spending the night dancing to country, rock and pop tunes by Drywater Band, partygoers wished the newlyweds off with sparklers.
