Traditional Punjabi Bridal Dress

While the wedding was a largely Western-style affair, Neeti embraced many traditions from her Indian background. The day before the wedding, she had a traditional mehndi, or henna, ceremony and on the morning of the wedding, a choora, or bracelet, ceremony. For the ceremony at Hartford City Hall she donned a classic red lengha, transitioning to a white Casablanca sheath gown for the reception.
