Traditional Liberian Wedding Entrance

The couple paid homage to Alima’s heritage with a traditional Liberian entrance to their reception. “After the bridal party came in, my mom, aunts, and female cousins came out before Jeremy and I, and laid traditional Liberian fabric on the ground like a red carpet. The music began to play and Jeremy and I danced in as our families surrounded us and greeted us by playing small instruments and throwing money,” Alima explains.
