Traditional Hindu Jewelry

The jewelry Mayura wore with her Indian dress was of traditional kundan style—a necklace, earrings, a mangtika, a hairpiece, two armfuls of bangles and two anklets. She also wore a mangalsutra (the necklace is symbolic in Indian wedding ceremonies, taking the place of traditional Western rings), designed by the family jeweler in Mumbai, India.
