Traditional Bridal Henna at Travel-Themed Wedding

Jenny had henna drawn on her palms for the wedding. "Traditionally, many Indians have arranged marriages, so the families arrange little games to allow the husband and wife to get to know each other on their wedding night. The henna artist hides the grooms name or initials in the henna design and on the couple’s wedding night the groom has to try and find his name or initials. If he finds them, he gets a present and if he doesn’t, he gets a punishment. I really liked the whole idea of henna and find the artwork to be very beautiful; I had henna done on the inside of my hands with Rob’s initials hidden in the design."
