Tracy & Eddie: A Beach Wedding in St. Petersburg, FL

Some things are worth waiting for, and for Eddie, it was certainly worth waiting until the last day of final exams at Florida State University's Nursing School to ask out fellow student Tracy. The two were hiking Grandfather Mountain and when they reached the top, he chose his moment. But once Tracy said yes, there was another delay: the couple married four years later. We decided to wait until we both finished anesthesia school, Tracy explains. This allowed me plenty of time to plan the Florida wedding from Raleigh, North Carolina. All of that time also allowed Tracy and Eddie to concentrate on their seaside theme, inspired by the Don CeSar Beach Resort and Spa in St. Pete Beach, where the wedding was to take place. The resort logo is a seashell, and it seemed the perfect symbol for the beach-theme wedding.
