Californians Tiffani and Tony met, lived, and were engaged near California beaches, so they incorporated a sunny coastal theme along with Tiffani’s signature color: I always loved my name, Tiffani, and all things Tiffany & Co ... it was clear that my wedding details would be Tiffany Blue, she explains. The Bride Tiffani McGivern The Groom Anthony (Tony) Gallippi The Date July 24 Anthony and Tiffani had been dating for four years when he planned a weekend trip to San Francisco for a week after their anniversary. I thought this was just to make up for another anniversary gone by without a ring! recalls Tiffani, a 33-year-old senior graphic designer. But as the couple (who met and live in Hermosa Beach, CA) was on their way to the Bay Area, Tony, a 38-year-old director of systems engineering, winked and told her they were taking the scenic route. To Tiffani's surprise, they ended up in romantic Half Moon Bay 30 miles from downtown San Francisco. Before I could say anything, the valet took our bags and whisked us up to our oceanfront suite! Tiffani says. We quickly ran down to the beach to watch the sunset, and as the waves were crashing around us, holding each other to keep warm, Tony took my hands and got down on one knee -- and handed her the Tiffany & Co. ring she had always wanted. It was well worth the wait for Tiffani, knowing that this was just the kick off for their West (coast) meets East celebration.

Tiffani's three bridesmaids each wore a floor-length aqua chiffon halter dress with a single flower detail at the neckline.

The flowers from Tiffani's bridal bouquet were later transferred to the candlelit reception, where countless votive candles surrounded each cotton-white bouquet centerpiece in the room.
The Reception Decor
While guests dined on both petite filet mignon with portobello demi-glace and salmon with tropical salsa, a trio of strolling violins serenaded each table as a tribute to Tony's Italian heritage.
The five-tier white buttercream cake had alternate layers of chocolate cake with chocolate ganache filling (for Tony) and vanilla layers with buttercream filling (for Tiffani). The bride and groom's something old item was the cake topper -- the same one Tiffani's parents used in 1970!
Tiffani's all-white bouquet included lisianthus, garden roses, and lilies of the valley tied with white satin ribbon and a four-leaf clover heart shaped pendant (in honor of her Irish heritage).
The Couple
Each Tiffany Box candle, which resembled a blue box with a white bow, was placed in a white box with aqua ribbons that included Tiffani and Tony's names and their wedding date.
After the DJ played the final song, Way You Look Tonight performed by Steve Tyrell, the best man escorted the couple to their hotel in his new white pickup truck. I could not have been happier that it was white, Tiffani says. A Pittsburgh moment for sure!
Classic arrangements of white blooms stood at the altar of the Saint Paul Cathedral as Tony waited for his bride.
