Three-Stone Diamond Engagement Ring

George proposed to Miranda during a six-week backpacking trip through Europe to visit and meet George’s family in both the Czech Republic and Switzerland. Over the Christmas holiday, the pair made a stop in Lausanne, Switzerland where George’s brother lives. After a day of snowshoeing, the couple enjoyed a decadent dinner out on the town and ended the evening with a walk on the top of the mountain through snow covered trees near their chalet. “George started talking about the importance of marriage to him and having a wife that was his best friend,” says Miranda. “Shortly thereafter, he pointed out a champagne bottle in the snow and told me to go get it. I was a bit hesitant, but when I pulled it out of the snow, attached to it by a string was my engagement ring. I turned around and George was down on one knee.”
