Cocktail hour immediately followed the ceremony in the Samoset Resort’s Penobscot Bay Pavilion, where guests sipped on cocktails while taking in the ocean views. The Samoset catered the event, serving up an inspired assortment of passed appetizers like lobster cobbler and mini chicken Wellington. Dinner was a sit down affair in the Bay Point Ballroom, where guests dined on tomato cognac bisque, caprese salad and entrees like sirloin, haddock and gluten-free pasta with roasted vegetables. Dessert was the highlight of the meal, with Three Dogs Cafe delivering a show-stopping confection decorated with a summery, seaside scene, complete with lighthouses, anchors and seashells.
