This Wedding at The Norwood in New York City Had a Chic Navy-and-Burgundy Palette

Adam Eisenhut (30 and a vice president at Brand Assembly) and Tyler Bush (38 and a creative director at Jessica Weber Design, Inc.) dined and danced with 60 for their swanky, jewel-toned Manhattan affair. “We both love the Art Nouveau movement, and our invitations that Tyler designed reflect that,” Adam says. Guests were also readied for the night with a fashion mood board, courtesy of Adam, with the instruction, “semi-formal with imagination! Ladies, hats are encouraged, but optional. Gentlemen, impress me.” Friends and family helped with everything from flower arrangements to the set list, with live performances all night, including ceremony solos, a cocktail hour jazz trio, a ukulele-accompanied performance at dinner, and a live band and DJ takeover at the reception.
“We let Norwood shine, as it offers so much personality,” Adam says. “For the elements we designed, we fell back on our palette of burgundy, navy and copper.”
“Before even becoming engaged, I thought of having a wedding that felt like a fun, fancy house party,” Adam says. “We found everything we were looking for at Norwood.” The showstopper was iced with a painted effect and wrapped with sugar bubbles. Though a mic snafu interrupted the newlyweds’ first dance to “Love Hangover” by Diana Ross, later in the night, Adam and Tyler took the floor to Janelle Monae’s “Primetime” to recapture the moment.
Adam’s cuff links were pink geodes, while Tyler wore his dad’s college class ring, his granddad’s cuff links and a silver engraved bracelet that Adam gifted him on the morning of their wedding.
