This Wedding at The Lit in Grand Rapids, Michigan, Was A Family Affair

Megan and Molly planned their wedding as they live their days: with intention. After Megan proposed with a sustainable ring from the woman-owned Rosados Box, the pair planned a celebration that represented their values. “We chose The Lit because it was a meeting place for women to discuss social justice,” Megan says. At the ceremony, the couple not only exchanged vows with each other, but also with their son, Chance. After dancing to Mario’s “I Choose You,” Megan and Molly surprised partygoers with a drag performance. “She was incredible,” Megan says. Originally, Megan wasn’t quite sure what color to wear— until Molly asked, “Why not pink?” In the end, “It was a bold choice,” Megan says, “and we’re so glad we made it.”
