Nature lovers Christie and Emmanuel envisioned an outdoor wedding in the Boston area, where they met in college. Just outside the city, Fruitlands Museum fit the bill with rolling fields and expansive views. “It was the perfect mix of a rustic feel with amazing catering and impeccable service,” Christie says. Sharing an eye for detail, the couple planned an event that focused on the little things. Slate blue, blush pink and rose gold accents created a casually refined look, from the ceremony programs to the table number frames. “We wanted it to feel like us, formal but not stuffy,” the bride says. Guests partook in a cider bar before the ceremony, which overlooked the Nashua River Valley, where the couple performed their choreographed dance to Frank Sinatra’s “The Way You Look Tonight,” for their first dance. At the end of the night, guests enjoyed beignets and ice cream, then took home some of the 300 cookies Christie and Emmanuel packaged themselves.
