This Couple Had a Modern-Meets-Boho Wedding at Prospect House in Dripping Springs, Texas
Prospect House, a modern venue nestled in the Texas high country inspired Alexandra Goldstein and Ryan Authier's wedding. In the Dripping Springs, Texas, space, crisp white details and concrete elements juxtapose with natural wood elements and the couple decided to highlight Prospect House's distinctly modern, yet natural and boho, aesthetic when it came time to tie the knot there. One major way the couple brought their vision to life was through their chosen floral designs. "We wanted the flowers to be funky and unique. My bouquet was long-stemmed blush ranunculus, and each bridesmaid carried a cluster of separate unique flowers. All bouquets were secured with dark green velvet to blend into the stems. The boutonnieres matched each bouquet, respectively," Alexandra says.
The Prospect House wedding began with a ceremony honoring the couple's Jewish heritage. "Our ceremony was outside and incorporated Jewish traditions. We were married by a rabbi under a huppah with large pots of natural flowers flanking each side. We wanted the huppah and florals to blend into the Hill Country landscape behind us. My husband walked down the aisle with his parents to 'Forever and Ever, Amen' by Randy Travis and I walked down the aisle with my parents to 'Helplessly Hoping' by Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young. Ryan smashed the class and then we exited to 'All My Lovin' by The Beatles," says Alexandra. Following the wedding ceremony, guests were ushered inside for dinner. The reception space included "long banquet tablets with hand-dyed muslin runners, grey fluted candles, and dark moody florals."
