This Couple Filled Their Wedding at One Eleven East in Hutto, Texas, With Bright Colors
One Eleven East got splashed with bright shades for Lindsey and Bryan's wedding. “The venue is just so gorgeous and clean,” Lindsey says. “We knew that we could really play with color—so we did every chance we could.” The place cards, signage and programs packed a punch, as did the bouquets and arrangements—a kaleidoscope of warm hues. After a ceremony staged in front of a greenery backdrop, guests took their seats at tables marked with blue taper candles. “The colors just made the day feel so alive and celebratory,” says Lindsey, who admits, ironically, that she spends most days in black. The two went with a classic for dessert: an almond cake iced with buttercream and finished with a fresh peony, garden roses and blue thistle .A custom illustration of the couple graced the save-the-dates and koozies, which were made to look like brown paper bags—one of the pair’s favorite “highbrow-lowbrow” details. Though they were meant to be taken home, cactus enamel pins made an appearance on guests’ lapels before the night was over.
