While Kara and Brett's ceremony and reception sites -- a church just yards from the water and a 19th-century casino -- are both quaint and historic, the couple wanted their celebration to feel anything but. Since we are city people, we wanted a contemporary feel, Kara says. It was expressed in a creative design scheme of pale blue, deep red, and great shapes.
