The Traditions
After Angie and Ivan served tea to Angie’s family, the couple fed each other sweet soup “to bring us many years of happiness and sweetness in our marriage,” says Angie. From there they moved from Angie’s mom’s house to the couple’s apartment to perform a second tea ceremony with Ivan’s family.
