The Traditions

Jennifer and Alfred presided over a tea ceremony, a tradition in which the newlyweds serve tea to their parents and older relatives as a sign of respect while receiving well wishes and words of advice -- plus red envelopes filled with lucky money --from their elders. Meanwhile, wedding guests sipped tea and ate finger foods at a tea reception.
