The Reception Site
When Kati and Scott arrived at the General Sutter Inn -- where the bride’s parents also were married -- they were greeted by 120 guests nibbling on hors d’oeuvres that included Swedish meatballs (in honor of the best man). Rather than giving each table a number, Kati assigned each guest to a wine, such as pinot noir or chardonnay, then placed a different bottle on each table. Later in the night, the DJ awarded one guest from each table the bottle.
