The Reception

The ceremony took place beneath a tent on the roof of The Hay-Adams hotel, overlooking the White House and other DC monuments. Cindy walked down a red carpet arm-in-arm with her parents. She and Brendan modeled it on the traditional Unitarian ceremony -- with lots of personal accents. Afterward, everyone headed downstairs to the ballroom for the reception.
