The Reception Decor

Though it was in DC, Angie and Robert chose a theme of “New York in the fall” for their nuptials, inspired by the bride’s love of Breakfast at Tiffany’s. Black, white, and gold details gave the ballroom an elegant look, and guests found their seats at tables named for NYC landmarks. Unique arrangements of curly willow with dendrobium orchids attached -- to mimic the look of dogwood branches, an out-of-season favorite of Angie’s -- topped off the tables. After the reception, guests moved downstairs to the hotel’s bar, celebrating both the nuptials and the groom’s birthday, just three days away.
