The Reception Decor

The main theme for our wedding was a traditional New England clambake, Addie explains. With so many family and friends traveling to Newport for our wedding weekend, we really wanted to do something memorable and distinct. The clambake would undoubtedly provide a unique atmosphere, as well as amazing local food! A bell signaled that dinner was about to begin, and guests gathered around the clambake pit for a brief explanation. Then the layers of canvas were peeled back to reveal the delicacies beneath, which included lobster, mussels, steamers, corn on the cob, and red bliss potatoes.
