Instead of sit-down dinner, Annie and Paul opted for a buffet-style reception that allowed guests to nibble and snack as they liked and encouraged everyone to mix and mingle. “We didn't want to have a seated dinner, so when our first wedding fell apart, we used a client connection of Paul's to use Fairway for catering, which is one of the best markets in New York City,” Annie says. The couple served up a variety of hors d’oeuvres, snacks and main dishes like filet mignon and smoked salmon.
