When they got engaged, the New York City-based couple thought about having a destination wedding, and traveled to Charleston, South Carolina, to see if that was the place for them. The Pavilion at Pepper Plantation in Awendaw, South Carolina, was the only place they looked. They loved it so much, they booked it on the spot.
