The Location

After sunset, guests relocated to long, banquet-style tables. Instead of numbers, each table was named a different island in Hawaii: Kaua'I, Hawai'i Island, Ni'ihau, Lana'I, Maui, O'ahu. Rows of silver mint julep cups each filled with the deep garnet blooms set an elegant mood. Once the plates were cleared, the disco ball started spinning and the magic really began. Sandra and Kevin passed around musical instruments and props including oversize rock-star sunglasses, crazy wigs, and boas. It was truly an enchanted evening. Tiki torches and votive candles were lit throughout the poolside tent for the island-inspired dinner.
