For the ceremony, Varuni wore three gold necklaces, the longest of which included sequential gold coins. She wore a fourth necklace called a mangal sutra, which is given to the bride during the ceremony to signify the union. She also donned other traditional South Indian traditional accessories like pure gold armbands. The henna details on her hands added the final touch to her cultural look.
