While Janeen and Ashley call Atlanta, Georgia, home, they grew up in Baltimore, Maryland. When it came to choosing a location to gather their families and friends to celebrate their nuptials, they knew it had to be in their hometown. “We needed our site to be LGBTQ friendly and affordable with a beautiful indoor and outdoor space,” the couple says. The Historic Oakland was all that and more, offering the couple a quaint, welcoming environment to say their “I dos.”
