The Groom's Cake

To honor Scott’s hometown, Chicago, Amanda chose a groom’s cake that paid homage to his roots. Classic images of the city (like the Navy Pier Ferris Wheel, the Sears Tower, and Wrigley Field) were created out of chocolate and then hand painted with icing. The chocolate cake included layers of chocolate cinnamon mousse, tinted vanilla buttercream frosting, as well as a martini glass topper, which Amanda had decorated herself.
