The Gown
“I wanted my outfit to be the most drop-dead gorgeous thing I’d ever worn, and I wasn’t afraid to be over-the-top,” Cristina says. She searched to find an authentic gown from the 1930s, and finally found one online: a champagne charmeuse sheath with a V-neck, low back, and allover glass beading. “The look was very glamorous, like Jean Harlow, but with a more sophisticated European flair,” she says. She topped off her style with a custom-made headpiece featuring an ivory silk flower and a spray of brown and cream feathers.
