The Gown

Though Kelli knew exactly what she was looking for -- a simple dress with a touch of color -- she had a very hard time finding it. After scouring through countless dress racks, Kelli decided to take the advice of one saleswoman and check out bridesmaid dresses. Sure enough, Kelli found the gown of her dreams -- a full-length, halter dress with a trumpet skirt -- in the bridesmaid section. “It worked out perfectly for me,” Kelli says. “The dress was simple and clean, and just what I was looking for.” Kelli enlisted the help of her grandmother to give the dress a necessary dose of color. She brightened up her gown with a floor-length turquoise sash attached with a crystal pin.
