The Gown

Kate wore a gown custom-designed for her by Michael Faircloth, a Dallas clothier. “I wanted something that had an heirloom quality yet was also totally modern,” Kate explains. The designer created a silk slip dress worn beneath a tea-length, fitted gown of Alencon lace with scalloped edges.
