The Favors

One of the key style motifs of the day was a monogram and ribbon theme. Brooke had spotted CD cases on TheKnot.com that were wrapped in ribbon with a square monogram closure. She incorporated a similar look into the invitations, programs, welcome baskets, centerpiece vases, and the favors. The favors themselves were tulip bulbs -- a nod to the bride's Dutch heritage –- that included planting instructions. I have always loved tulips so there was really no other choice (and no other flower) for my wedding! Brooke says.
