The Favors

Valerie and Joe hand-assembled the favors for their 200 guests. First they wrapped Chinese good luck coins in a ribbon and tied them to bamboo cups. Then they filled the cups with traditional Asian mochi candy wrapped in chiffon. The stickiness of mochi represents togetherness, while the sweetness is a sign of a harmonious relationship, says Valerie.
