The Exit

After the last dance, guests lined up on either side of the driveway as the newlyweds made their grand exit through a sparkler gauntlet. Julie and Paul had to refrain from hugging guests good-bye -- for fear of their hair catching on fire! But the lights must have been impossible to resist. Earlier in the evening as the sun went down, Julie stood on the porch to take it all in: I remember looking at the tent lights and the luminaries that lined the driveway -- and thinking I was in a fairy tale.
