The Couple

Amber and Marlys wanted to include a symbol of their life together, but a unity candle wasn’t practical on the windy coast. Instead, they celebrated their unity with an ancient handfasting tradition where they first passed a rope around to their guests to wish love and support on the couple and then tied the rope around their hands to symbolize their binding commitment to one another.
