“My bouquet was carried in a tin cone covered with a paper doily,” she explains. “This form was inspired by a favorite illustration from a book about the Swedish Ballet.” The tightly gathered bouquet consisted of white and blush cabbage roses, Queen Anne’s lace, and some Edelweiss from the Bavarian Alps hand-delivered by Anne’s friends who traveled from Germany. “The bouquet had the look of being freshly picked from a garden,” Anne says.
