The couple spent seven months planning their celebration, which centered around a chocolate brown and pear green color palette. “After we had chosen our colors, I was talking to my grandma about her wedding and she told me her colors: mocha brown and apple green,” says Julie. “Though I didn’t know it at the time, I essentially chose the same colors as my grandma!” An earthy but elegant feel took shape quickly, beginning with the handmade paper invitations that were tied off with green ribbon.
