The Ceremony

The wedding day actually began in the morning with a traditional Vietnamese ceremony at Angelo’s parents’ home. “It was a wonderful chance for our extended families to meet, as well as enjoy a traditional Vietnamese meal,” Angelo remembers. Later, the couple exchanged vows in a western ceremony where Julie’s grandfather officiated. “We chose traditional vows, but he added his own personal touch by telling Angelo to take care of and be kind to his granddaughter,” Julie recalls.
