The Ceremony
Anne and Gabrielle's good friend, an ordained Baptist minister, officiated the ceremony. From the beginning, the two had nixed the white gown idea, and instead went for attire that best fit their personalities. They chose their colors based on the colors they usually wear. Gabrielle, who wears a lot of fall colors, wore a rust-colored cocktail dress. Anne, who always wears green, found a white lacy top and a pair of green, linen, palazzo pants for the occasion. To bring their colors together, Gabrielle crafted carnelian, garnet, and peridot jewelry for the two to wear.
